PUDONG HOUSEHOLDS
Between the late 1990s and early 2000s, Jian-ping Wu photographed families living in Pudong during a period of rapid urban transformation in Shanghai. Rather than focusing on the city’s emerging skyline, the series turns toward ordinary households and their domestic spaces, preserving intimate traces of everyday life amid profound social and physical change.
