THREE GORGES

Photographed along the Yangtze River, this series traces the landscape and communities of the Three Gorges through a period of profound transformation. Jian-ping Wu records the river, mountains, settlements, and passing vessels as elements of a landscape shaped by both history and change. Moving between the monumental and the intimate, the photographs reflect on memory, disappearance, and the enduring relationship between people and the river.
